Multi Chars - "To Six" Edit Project (Last update 14.12.24)

Last MUGEN project : cmd and cns edits, to convert characters with 2-3-4 buttons to 6 buttons, adding them superjump, and faster combos combinations... (and more...)



Some facts : I am not a coder, I don't code supers or new things from scratch (maybe one day on another level). I made those edits for myself and share to the community, like for my screenpacks, it is just a sharing thing after all.

Ken Masters -ReHyped- for Win MUGEN & 1.0+

Everytime I work on this style of edit I'm completely out. Thinking thinking and thinking... and still thinking. In fact it's the same way for every project I put my head in, but this ReHyped mugen shit is really brain-consuming.
So this is the end of a shotokan edit trilogy. Everytime I'm working on a mugen thing, I'm telling myself it's the last I will do. I'm 33y/o, 2 childs, work and family life are taking 98% of my free time, I really don't know what will be next.

Master Ken by Ex-Inferis is the source. The author added some original moves. I just had to continue his work. MVC styled gameplay based on my ToSix project. And a bunch of new specials and hypers based on :
Infinite's Gouken, Jun's Ogre, Oscar12345 & 119way's Shingo, Mgmurrow's ShinGouki,
Kong's Thanos, Hannibal/Kal-Elvis's Superman, Cngsoft's Victor...
+ Some new (franken)sprites and animations.

UPDATED 14.09.27 : (Thanks to Ghost Killer on MFG)
- Cobra Beam misses most characters at close range
The arm itself should be able to hit the opponent, pushing them into the beam. FIXED
- ShinRyaku, Suicide Punch, Infinity Gauntlet and Shoto Spider hypers dont have any blue hitboxes on startup unlike all the other hypers. FIXED
- When landing these chaining combos
the third hit (C.HP) isn't able to hit most characters mid-screen and even in the corner FIXED
- Hyaki Goujin (Falling Kick)'s sprites need a bit of editing around the shoulders  FIXED
- All projectiles (except Hyper AirHadooken's) have no blue hitboxes and thus can't be hit by other projectiles. FIXED

- The Franken Punch doesn't take any super bar FIXED

Sabaki Ryuuken -ReHyped- for Win MUGEN & 1.0+ (Updated 14.08.08!)

Ok. Almost 3 weeks of tweaking, editing, researching for this -many times requested character to edit-.
So what's this "ReHyped" shit? Just a fun and original touch to a mugen character that deserves it (give Ryu a try).

Ryuuken (by aZCal) went to be a basic ToSix edit but the crazy I am finally decided to practically re-do/revamp everything.

The sprites base was good for a start, but everything else were a 'beautiful' dockyard.
The first thing to do was to make a new stance, I am not the best spriter as Balthazar or Diepod but I'm satisfied with the frankensprited one I did. Once the stance done, as I always say, I used my brain to move on and gave the character everything I could.

Changed his voice for Mitsurugi's japanese voice from Soul Calibur 2.
And made a bunch of new specials and hypers based on : Infinite's edits (Takuma, Rock, ShenWoo, Nash), Chang's Sokaku, Kdng's Unkoman, HM's Moko... my work would be nothing without their work.


Mr Infinite gave me a hand with pals which are too hard to do for my colorblinded eyes. Hope to see more palettes...

Mugen Multiverse - Cross generation of fighters - Time to update to 720p!

M.U.G.E.N 1.1 out, PNG24 finally supported with real transparency effects and no color limits, time to launch my new screenpack dockyard. 

So what's kept :
Sounds and graphics (logo, style, typo, etc.) from Mugen Multiverse 1.0 keeping this retro style I'm liking so much.

The brain killer select screen style combining slots & unlimited space.
** How does this work? : 364 slots for characters you want to show with mini portraits,
if you go to the left/right you'll have all the other characters under the category selected.


Custom portraits still good (hope to see animated portraits feature one day....)

Everything scaled to 720p : option, title, select, versus, etc. screens adapted.

Lifebars revamped from scratch inspired by the old low-res ones by Doorhenge.

Karochi Taiki -1stCharFromScratch- for Win MUGEN & 1.0 (& 1.1b) (Updated 13.12.28)

Time has come to make something really "new" for the Mugen community (not just a character edit or a screenpack). I wanted to take this time on coding from scratch a character never done before.

My choice went for Karochi Taiki from PSX Tatsunoko Fight, some badass well sprited character originaly created for the game (thanks to Thor on MFG who shared most of the spritesheets, I ripped by myself the specials et hypers sprites).
I used the KFM and my -ToSix- template, gave the character some original custom moves. Completely changed his voice (PSX version was messy). And we're done.++

UPDATE 13.12.28 :

Dash tweaked
NoHitBy on hypers added
Removed invicibility in MultiHado hyper (CLSN were missing)
Added "hit the ground" sound on ApplePie Special
Some minor things adjusted

SF3 Ryu -ReHyped- for Win MUGEN & 1.0 (& 1.1b)

The force of MUGEN is, if you have time, skills, imagination or neurons, you can make everything you want to make. Today I like to "edit" characters (at my level). I know how to handle MUGEN coding and make those characters playable in my favourite mvc style.

For Ryu, I took the tweaked "toSix" Vyn's SF3 version. I wanted to add some something fun and original in this one. So 8 more hypers added (based on Mgmurrow's ShinGouki, Phantom of the Server's Morrigan, Big Eli King's Dark Chunli, Jerzy's TungFuRue, Ethan Lives's Dark Bolt, Ketra's Jin Saotome and Kong's Iron Man). Also made some small frankensprites edits. And we are done.
In all, Ryu has 18 hypers (all are level 1), 9 specials, everything connected with combo frenzy, superjump, etc..
As I always say : not enough time. I'm getting old.++

1.1 Zoom Enabled Stages Pack x126 - 13.08.11

After a loooong wait, the first beta of M.U.G.E.N 1.1 is officially and finally online. So 1.1 ? OpenGL, PNG support (MM Screenpack updated soon), and stages zooming. I dreamed about this feature since... ever! Now it's out and works perfectly with SuperJump stages. Made my day with the edit of 126 stages (maybe more later).

Credits goes to the original stages creators : Gal129, Daeron, Basara-kun, kyoman, Dark Saviour, Kung Fu Man, Kiwi & Shin Otaru, DonRamon, chok, etc. (author = "those who signed their def files...")

Seiya -ReArranged- for Win MUGEN & 1.0

Longtime project... 10 years of MUGEN, 10 years of crappy  Saint Seiya mugen characters. I always wanted to make/edit some Saint Seiya protagonists (one of my longtime favourite anime), took patience and courage to visit lots of forums and albanian warehouses to find the best sprited character. My first choice went on Hyoga but his sound file were soooo horrible, so I took Seiya by Tecla2000 (or Claudio Ricci or Mim), this one seemed promising with nice sprites and japanese voice... (waiting for Graphicus project)

I added Seiya's voice and sounds from Seiya JUS character by Bruno_SS
Some stuffs ripped from Saint Seiya Senki youtube videos.
Level 3 Hyper cinematic ripped from Saint Seiya Abel Movie.

MVC styled gameplay based on my ToSix project with combo frenzy, superjump, etc..
5 Specials (+2 Air) and 5 Hypers (+2 Air).

Fixed some things (thanks to Wolvegeta on MFG).
Energy/cosmo charge and Rolling crash hyper added.

Mugen Multiverse - Cross generation of fighters. MvDvSvC has evolved. Updated 13.02.21!


Ok. First, goodbye long title.

Next, new "unlimited" select screen (based on 8000+ chars imt screenpack). Too much characters for not enough slots, it was like removing a char to add another. I decided to get rid of the mini portraits and having this unlimited space.


SFA font updated with "1-9" numbers and "-" (thanks to Megabyt2k2 who pointed this on MFG). Some minor changes on VS screen too.


Custom portraits still work.
817 portraits done.

UPDATE 13.02.21 :
